Who this covers

This notice explains how Barrow LLC(“Barrow”, “we”) handles information from people who visit this website and from clients who use the Barrow client portal.

Visiting the public website

The public pages of this site do not ask you for personal information and do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may store a display preference (light or dark appearance) locally on your device; that preference is not sent to us. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, requested page and browser type, which are used to keep the site running and secure.

Inquiries and email

The inquiry form on this site composes a message on your device and hands it to your own email application; nothing you type into it is stored by this website or sent anywhere until you send that email. When you email info@barrowllc.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it to answer your enquiry, to scope and price a service request, and, if you become a customer, to arrange and document your shipments. We keep this correspondence as part of our business records.

Using the client portal

The client portal is for existing clients. To provide it we store account details (name, email address, a hashed password), the shipments, addresses, documents and invoices associated with your account, and the sign-in sessions needed to keep you logged in. The portal uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security only.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that host and operate this site and the portal on our behalf, with parties involved in performing a shipment (for example a receiver who needs a delivery contact), and where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it for business, legal or accounting reasons. Write to info@barrowllc.com.

Changes

If this notice changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. See also our website terms.
